First Coffee Of The Day "Ahhh"
I like the early morning coffee when the sun first rises and the critters stir from the night. The Owls are still getting to bed and the odd call breaks the dawn. The domestic animals start to call out. Eagles call across the valley, and the geese and ducks rise off the lake. Crows start their flight for breakfast from within the forests branches the wild acrobatic flying antics and deep calls. The little song birds greet the sunlight in a spectacular chorus. Deer stretch out in the sun and then slowly move across the farm fields from their night beds.Yep like those morning cups of coffee.

Somenos Marsh "The Other Side" Part 1
A quick but very scenic boardwalk takes you on a tour of the marsh
Birders Welcome
A multitude of signs show the area inhabitants
A direct line to my house by bird
Lots of various bird houses and shelters are throughout the marsh
Somenos Marsh is a fairly large area that runs right beside the Highway from Victoria to Up Island Destinations and sits beside the Town of Duncan.
Most people drive right by the Somenos Marsh teaching area it is worth a quick stop.

Spectacle Lake Park BC
Spectacle Lake BC
A myriad of little rain fed creeks feed into the lake.
Swelling up to a good size flooding up around the lake shore
A multitude of spots around the lake are natures oil paintings
The forest around the lake is picture perfect
A nice 2 km walk around the lake is a great way to get off the highway
and take a bit of a break or a nice day hike on the other trails in the area

Into The Kitchen For Lunch
On a post amongst and down into natures kitchen
The young hopeful hungry
Too big of a meal
A little nervous
Using reflection as a buddy to confuse
Low 5 Thanks
He clasps the crag with crooked hands;
Close to the sun in lonely lands,
Ringed with the azure world, he stands.
The wrinkled sea beneath him crawls;
He watches from his mountain walls,
And like a thunderbolt he falls.
Alfred, Lord Tennyson
The Eagle.

If
you are seeking creative ideas, go out walking.
Angels whisper to a man when he
goes for a walk.
