Just A Little Sunflower

"If I were a flower.. I would be a sunflower. To always follow the sun, Turn my back to darkness, Stand proud, tall and straight even with my head full of seeds."

Dangerous Slide

Boulders roll dangerously off the mountain top

Evidence of previous slides everywhere

Sun setting in beautiful contrast to the danger that lurks

From rolling boulders

Or you can take the boy out of the sand pile...LOL

1st Crash

Well here I am on a post after the big human
picked all the Cottonwood off me that caused
my 1st crash.

So depressing with all the other guys flying around

But Mom says head up

Stretch out the wings and try again

Oh and stay away from the Cottonwood

Little Big Man

Taking a picture of this Bald Eagle begging me for some chicken

Does not get his way so he yells at me

He gets annoyed so decides to fly off to look elsewhere

Runs into this little Sparrow's territory and the chase is on

With a full out landing and peck to make the point,
"Get out of my area"

Dogwood Days

The Pacific dogwood (Cornus nuttallii) was adopted in 1956 as British Columbia's floral emblem

A flowers spring petal is always brighter under the sun's glorious caress.
