Hazy low cloud with an almost horizontal rainbow

Eagle seemingly checking out the colors in its territory

20 minutes later it lifts into a more classic curve

Low hazy cover clouds move off and blue sky appears

20 minutes after that a squall line appears and redarkens everything

Rabbit Launch

On my walk spotted these two in the tree looking a bit excited. All of a sudden the Female (I think) launched and swooped off out of the tree. She made a low run over a fence into the field next door and just missed a rabbit. Just a bit too much brush for a picture of that though I could see what was happening.

Raccoon Snapshot

Heard a rustle behind me and caught this little masked beggar trying to skitter behind me.

Found some cougar scat and fresh prints a few feet down the road so he has a reason to run.
